MI:IV

Normal hypeness.
With all Cruise kookiness aside, this flick looks like a box office gem.
Everything J.J. Abrams is involved in is instant gold.

Better

[The air smells way better when you step away for a while.]

Even though I was only gone for 3 days, I'm glad to be back home.

I want to get back to work.
I want to get this stupid class and this semester over with.
I want to go see the Jaguars training camp.
I want to finish [project blue].

And I hate being couped up on the road, with crap radio.

I don't like "road" trips.

I'd much rather fly.

Tomorrow, white water is gonna get fkd.
And there will be footage to prove it.

Tennessee

Tomorrow morning, I leave for the weekend.
I'll be in Tennessee spending time with my relatives in Murfreesboro.

Tennessee feels more "southern" than Florida, regardless of geography.
Either way, I'm excited to capture some new unfamiliar imagery via Instagram.

This is gonna be a heavy Instagram weekend, so keep your eyes peeled.

J. Nolan

I've been taking a 3D design class with Professor Jesse Nolan.
This is the work I've completed in the past couple weeks.

I don't want to completely trash his teaching style, but he is the least effective art instructor I have ever had in my 10+ years of art training.  (I won't say the worst, cause he's a genuinely nice guy and doesn't deserve to be bashed.)
  1. He talks [way] too much. (My iPod keeps me from getting hostile.)
  2. He pretentiously talks too much about his own art.
  3. He makes awkward jokes and remarks, when students are busy working on their pieces.
  4. He does this thing when critiquing, where he makes less critical remarks about a student with a lesser successful work, and has more to criticize about students with strong pieces and works.
  5. And he always suggests students to finish work quickly. (I hate being rushed. Quantity over quality hardly applies to any situation, why should my artwork be any different?)
Professor Jesse Nolan is an easy-A arts and crafts teacher.

...I can't wait to get to my fall classes.
