I've been taking a 3D design class with Professor Jesse Nolan.
This is the work I've completed in the past couple weeks.
I don't want to completely trash his teaching style, but he is the
least effective art instructor I have ever had in my 10+ years of art training. (I won't say the worst, cause he's a genuinely nice guy and doesn't deserve to be bashed.)
- He talks [way] too much. (My iPod keeps me from getting hostile.)
- He pretentiously talks too much about his own art.
- He makes awkward jokes and remarks, when students are busy working on their pieces.
- He does this thing when critiquing, where he makes less critical remarks about a student with a lesser successful work, and has more to criticize about students with strong pieces and works.
- And he always suggests students to finish work quickly. (I hate being rushed. Quantity over quality hardly applies to any situation, why should my artwork be any different?)
Professor Jesse Nolan is an easy-A arts and crafts teacher.
...I can't wait to get to my fall classes.
