Back in the heydays of this blog, I was hyping (500) Days Of Summer.
Since the very first trailer I saw of it, I knew it would be a breath of fresh air.
My "(500) Days" post even got the attention of Director Marc Webb.
[One of the crowning achievements of this blog. Lol]

[Two years have lapsed.]
Marc's new second project happens to be the greatly anticipated reboot/re-visioning of the Spider-Man franchise, The Amazing Spider-Man.
When I initially heard that Webb got hired for the job, I was a little (neutrally) intrigued.
I wasn't so quick to say it was a great hire for the franchise, but at the same time I knew that Webb's interpretation would definitely be a more character-driven film with personality and style that the Raimi big box office films just didn't aim to have.
Pure action movies don't normally appeal to me.
And based on (500), I could tell that Webb has something to say beyond explosions and SFX.
So for me, I couldn't be more excited.
And Eduardo Saverin as Peter Parker! I'm hella down for that.
But seriously, Andrew Garfield is an actor who's ready to be a household name.
I just saw the trailer, and so far it's meeting all my expectations and some.
I'm really excited for a fresh take on an iconic story-line.
Just hoping The Amazing Spider-Man can feed my 3D fix.
